I travel a lot. In any journey, it is important for me to stop and feel the moment, to feel here and now.I pick up my brushes and paint. Every moment is unique, it escapes, and I want to save it.
Everything is important: time, place, atmosphere. Cities, ports, streets, forests fall into my field of vision during wanderings and exploration of the world, space and time. Gradually I am filled with sounds, color, mood. All of it is reflected in the works and sketches of the plein air series.
My paintings are a play of light and color. These lines form a single pattern that one wants to read.
